We have spent 4 nights in Venice, we stayed at Camping Alba D'Oro which is about 20 minutes outside of Venice. It has nice accommodation consisting of tents and cabins. We have been in Florence since Saturday. We left Rome as there wasn't many hostels and booked train tickets and a bed in Florence. We are actually staying in a campsite where the beds are basic (a tent with 2 beds!) but it has all the mod cons...Bar!! It's annoying when you wakeup having to trek over to the toilets though. Hi everyone, I am now in Rome. We got a plane yesterday at 18.25 and landed at about 20hrs. We flew with Vueling.com who are the UK's version of easyjet and were great to fly with. When we landed we had to get on the train which took us directly to Termini Station where we could reach the city centre.
