We have been in Florence since Saturday. We left Rome as there wasn't many hostels and booked train tickets and a bed in Florence. We are actually staying in a campsite where the beds are basic (a tent with 2 beds!) but it has all the mod cons...Bar!! It's annoying when you wakeup having to trek over to the toilets though. I really like Florence, our campsite is on a hill which overlooks the city and it really is a sight and a half! Oh and I finally got a new digital camera today seeing as my one was robbed! Its so great to be able to take photos again! We have spent the past couple of nights getting drunk (Very cheaply at the campsite) with some lads from Manchester who were in the next tents to us. On our first night here we all sat on a blanket drinking wine and the security guard came flying by on his moped and literally sent us to bed! If we tried to talk to him he would just say "Shut up!" Lucy and I were gonna leave after that but it isa decent enough place even if it does feel like being in school. We have trekked hard during the day and I've seen so much. We haven't been to see David as the queue was about 3 hours long...I'd rather be in a bar!! Looking to move on but cant get a hostel in Pisa so it may be Rimini...Anywhere with a beach so that I can sunbathe and enjoy the heat!
