Phnom Penh, by accident

Well! I am alarmingly far behind again. I would say that I will make all the entries brief in order to catch up, but Im not sure that I am capable of writing anything less than a short essay! I will try.

So...at the end of the last entry, I was on my way to Koh Kong, via a stopover in Sihanoukville. However, when I caught the bus to Sihanoukville in the morning, I found that it was going all the way back to Phnom Penh, where I would have to change bus. The bus took an age and by the time we reached the capitol, it was already mid afternoon. I realised that it would be late by the time I got to Sihanoukville, and I also spotted a direct bus to Koh Kong, so I changed plans and decided to stay a night in Phnom Penh. At least I knew my way around a bit and wouldn't have to find my way around a new place late at night. I ended up staying in a funny little room with a laughably low ceiling, with beams!! I doubt that it was ever designed to be used as a room, but the hotel saw an opportunity to make a few more dollars.
