Day 10 - Today was a fun day. I was able to tour four schools today. I went back to PuJi HS, A kindergarten school, a primary school and a middle school. All were fun experiences. Got many standing ovations. Not for being a good person or having a great haircut, but for being American. Very interesting. I will write more later. Good last day in Wugong County with Principal Ma. Will miss him. J Beijing, here I come!

Day 9 - (For some reason Day 8, which I wrote last night, did not get posted like I thought...So quickly...Visited two temples, which were cool for the first 10 minutes...of which we spent 3 hours each....20 minutes of cool stuff in a 6 hour visit combo=tired principal...walked over 10 miles, it rained and I am glad the day is over.) :) Soooo, Day 9...Best day yet. Day 7 - Today was not what I supposed it would be. I thought we would spend the majority of our day at PuJi High School learning about the National and Provincial tests the students are taking this weekend. We spent all of 10 minutes at the school and spoke 2 sentences about the tests. A deep and meaningful conversation on assessment it was not. After a nice Western Breakfast at the hotel, Principal Ma, his wife, and Alice picked me up and we visited the National Northwest Agriculture University. It is the #2 Ag university in Northern China. We walked the campus looking at many flowers, bushes, trees and monuments. We walked around for 3 hours….yes, 3 hours. There were some interesting pieces. I was picked up by Principal Ma and my interpreter, Alice. (I do not know her Chinese name.) Principal Ma had an important meeting at the Provincial Gov't office in Xi'an. This meant that Alice I were to spend some time "walking around". We walked around the market and sites I had walked a few days before. Tedious, but at least I got some exercise.
