We're now in Queenstown after having travelled to Milford Sound last night and doing an overnight cruise. Fellow Contikites are cool - a great bunch of Aussies with some Canadians, Brazilians, 2 English, the token Irish and a Janpaese. And us! h, and 2 Germans and a Swiss.

Milford Sound was so beautiful and the tiny 4 bed bunk cabins didn't put me off my sleep. Chris loved his kayaking and most others went swimming off the boat. I was busy over-seeing the situation and working on my tan (have been far too busy to get rid of the strap marks from the Kaikoura sunburn!).

Stopped at the original bungy point today so that some people could do it. Don't worry mum, I didn't partake. But that's because I'm SKYDIVING TOMORROW! Yes, I'm taking the plunge (literally). Early start and after this late night (have had an all-you-can-eat-buffet tonight at the skline restaurant, where funnily enough we met a girl guide from ST Julians in Newport) I'd better get off to bed.
