Hello everyone! Right, after another very early start, (we had to get up at 4.30, after saying goodbye to everyone on our last tour group at 12.30!!), we headed off on our next trip to Kings Canyon and Yulara. Spent most of the trip sleeping on the bus (although Louise didnt sleep very well because the tour guides kept trying to photo her while doing the 'fly catcher' sleeping position!). We did manage to spot our first 'herd?!' of wild camels - see photos...

Left VERY early on Friday for a trip to Alice (Springs, in case you were wondering who the f*** Alice is!). Went to Katherine Gorge for some kayaking... where our tour guide decided to abandon us to the rapids while he went off in the bushes with a Danish girl!! Was great fun though, and we shared the river with some 'freshies' (thats fresh water crocodiles to all you laymen!). Went to a campsite, and we know what you are thinking, Louise and Lucy camping,...

Spent the last two days in Kakadu National Park... fantastic! First day we saw wallabys, held snakes (Lucy's one tried to wrap itself all round her, but then it was an olive python!), saw jumping crocodiles and aboriginal cave drawings, had a barbie with kangaroo meat, played the didgeridoo and toasted marshmallows round the campfire! Second day we started off with a nice swim by a rock pool - and had a free massage from the waterfall! The signs all ...

Just a quick hello! for all those mums and dads out there that are worried that they havent heard from us! We are in Darwin, off to Kakadu National Park tomorrow to go swimming, sightseeing, crocodile hunting, wallaby spotting, camping in the outback (!), and all that jazz! Will update you on Thursday when we come back - probably with lots of midgie bites and missing limbs!

Just come back from Raffles, after enjoying a couple of Singapore Slings, and throwing our nuts on the floor! (Sorry Robert, we tried to go to the Night Safari, but it was too late! The plane was delayed by a couple of hours at London). Off shopping tomorrow, will hopefully work off our fat ankles by walking around (these are as a result of the flight, not because we normally have fat ankles!!)...We guess we'll be updating you when we get to Darwin!
