Well after an 8 hour bus journey from the Lovely Puno here I am in the even MORE gorgeous Cusco!

This place is sooo beautiful its looks a bit like a medieval town with a central square. Toaday i have been really REALLY lucky as it has been Corpus Christie day. Peru is mainly a catholic country and when there`s a festival there a FESTIVAL. Today the streets have been packed with people since 6 am drinking, dancing and parading their jesus icons around the square. There`s been live music and beer tents (any excuse for a party eh?) and of course a good supply if cooked ginea pig and alpacca for sale from street vendors (funny how you just start to get used to seeing certain things!!) i have no idea what time the party ended but at 11pm it was still in full swing! Peruvians certainly know how to have fun!!

Today I have spent the day white water rafting about 2 hours outside form Cusco. I am SOO proud of myself we were at 12.600 feet and i was in the front off the raft rowing like a good un and not an altitude sickess symptom in sight YAY!! 

The waters were only lever 3 plus, which OK isn´t THAT exciting for fully blown white water rafters but for me in the front of that boat it was just perfect and the scenery was AMAZING!
