This morning we were up bright and early, checked out, had a healthy fruit breakfast and headed straight into the city for last minute souvenir shopping. On our way back we stopped off at Backpackers World Travel and booked our Stray bus tour of New Zealand. We rushed out of the travel agents, grabbed a sandwich and dashed back to the hostel ready for our 1.30pm bus, arriving early at 1.00pm to ensure we didn't miss it.

Two hours later we were still waiting, it finally arrived at 3.30pm, after the bus had suffered from engine failure in Noosa. Enroute to Byron Bay, we made a short stop at a Zorbing place and dropped some fellow travelers off at Surfer's Paradise before arriving at Holiday Village hostel at 8.30pm. We quickly headed out to Woolworths and brought a reduced stuffed chicken for our dinner, which we enjoyed with some salad. We headed to the TV room to watch the end of the tennis then retired to bed.
