Today we woke bright and early and headed by taxi to the bus station at 6.30am. We arrived quite quickly after enjoying a sing-a-long to the drivers power ballads and soon bought a ticket on the 7.30am bus to Foz De Iguacu in Brazil.
We grabbed a drink and had a quick look through the shops before boarding the bus on time. We slept for much of the first half of the journey whilst a spanish version of Die Hard played on the tv! We arrived in the Paraguayan border town of Ciudad del Este around 1.00pm and after droppin all but us and 1 other person at the bus station we continued on, only to stop at the bus dept for around an hour whilst the, seemingly ok, bus was fixed!
Finally we slowly crawled through the traffic and cleared immigration - getting the last stamp of the trip in our passports! We arrived at the International bus terminal around 4.30pm. We then took local buses to our out of town hostel, arriving after 6.00pm. We checked in and sorted a trip to the falls out before heading to the snack bar for a much needed sandwich and chips! We spent the evening sorting washing - boring but desperately needed!
