Checked out of our hostel in Manly and made our way to Geordie land - Newcastle of course - along the way we passed- Stockton, Hexham,Wallsend, Jesmond and Gateshead- I thought we'd got on the wrong bus back to the UK!

Wasn't really impressed with Newcastle but only had 2 nights there- weather wasnt that great either. I went for a 2 hour walk along the cliffs to the next few beaches and back while Charlotte sat on the beach relaxing before retreating to the local caf for a cuppa!!

The night life was so exciting we resorted to going to the cinema to see the holiday. I think that place must be stuck in the 60's as it was old leather uncomfortable seats, psychedelic carpets and bright orange curtains across the screen!! Good film though and only 5 of us in there.
