Day Seventeen
Travelled to Vegas today, we had the tunes pumping out in the van - ballin' and money aint a thang - cd prepared by Glaze for our journey into Vegas.rnrnStaying at the Super 8 Motel for the next 2 nights its basically a 5-10 min walk to main strip. Had a few hours to chill before we had to meet by the pool for drinks before Glazer showed us our surprise he had mentioned.
At about 8.30 the most massive, pimping, ballin'- whatever you want to call it hummer limo turned up- named the "intimidator" it could seat about 20 people if you wanted it to so with just 8 of us there was room for laying down- as Sandy and Charlotte decided to do. There was a massive widescreen tv in the back pumping out tunes whilst we drove up and down the strip for about an hour and a half.
We were hanging out of the windows and screaming it was amazing- the atmosphere was also helped along by the Champagne, Malibu shots and beers planned by Glaze by the time we got out of the limo i don't think anyone was sober- we had been pounding it!
The limo dropped us off at one of the many casinos Caesers Palace- we watched a great water show to music and visited a few casino bars. There was live bands in 2 of the places we went to and there was a lot of dancing going on! Unfortunately, Ann and I both fell whilst dancing together and she hurt her ankle so now has that bandaged up!rnrnCharlotte tried her luck on the roulette table with her luckly number 1 and 9 and lost pretty quickly
Glaze and Sandy went looking for her jumper so it was Wayne and us two left hogging the dancing floor before retiring to get a subway to sober up.
Day Eighteen
This was our free day in Vegas so decided to sleep off the alcohol from last night. Finally surfaced about noon and headed to the Aladdin Casino for an all you can eat buffet lunch- this place was amazing it was basically like sitting in the middle of a food court and being able to eat from every outlet- there was chinese, indian, american, italian, salads, seafood, deserts it was fantastic although dont think we made the most of it due to our hangovers setting in!!
Strolled down the strip in the daylight and went into MGM, Luxor and Excalibur casinos. Played roulette much to the annoyance of the guy operating the table. I got hooked on the blackjack machines- put 10 dollars in got up to 30 dollars and lost.
Chilled back at the hotel before meeting everyone for our 2nd night on the town. Glazes friend Charlie joined us- he works in Vegas. We ventured to the karaoke bar next door where Glaze got up to sing- surprisingly good. There was quite a few weird people in there and the choice of songs were quite funny very different to the karaoke at home.
Because we obviously couldn't wait 10 mins to walk to the next drinking hole we bought huge cans of beer to stroll up to the strip with. Fun and games were had along the way including Charlotte giving Glaze a piggy back and then Glaze carrying me.
New York New York was the place we ended up in there we went to Coyote Ugly apparently to show Wayne what it was like as he'd never been to one before. Had a few beers in there and danced on the bar before heading to MGM for another beer. The night finished in Hooters casino where we scoffed the traditional burger and chips.
