Alice is really nice! Much more modern that we thought, not as clean as we would like, but really nice all the same. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and just spent the rest of the day by the pool and then did a camel ride at sunset. Sunday we got up and went to the reptile park and looked at the largest collection of venemous snakes in Oz, then went on to Desert Park to have a look at some more creepy crawlies and then a bird of prey show. Very good, but finished the day feeling very itchy! Sunday night we went into town and were in a real spit and sawdust saloon place called "Bojangles" that had live internet coverage! So we were live on the internet for the evening...! However, we didn't stay out long as we had to be up at about 0330hrs this morning for a hot air balloon ride over the outback plains for sunrise, which was just stunning. We both really enjoyed that and got lots of photos. Then after breakfast we headed back into town for some retail therapy (typical females!) and then started the long drive north towards Darwin.
