Kathmandu....not what I imagined! Smelly, dirty and big and noisy! I was really excited though as the trekkers(inc Rachel,Ave and Martin ) were rejoining us and I had missed them all! Took the chance to spend time in the pub, visit supermarkets(it's been a while) and catch up on the diary. Had the best meal since leaving home....cauliflour pie...mmmm! Booked abungy jump and canyon swing...all pollys fault....and then had to drink copius amounts of alcohol to forget about it! 2 hours sleep later and I was on the bus to borderlands to throw myself off a bridge!!!!!

So...the ropes round my ankles and I'm standing 160m high on a suspension bridge thinking 'am I mad?' and then I dive off...alrighty....oh my god...I can't believe I just did it!!!!! Then the worst bit....I'm standing on the same bridge about 2 hours later and I watch a guy just step off the edge with a harness on and I'm told I turned green!!!!! I have never been so scared in all my life(until the following evening....another story). My turn...I consider changing my mind....Polly and Will and Martin are standing watching and Rixy has already jumped....no way man I'm jumping!!! An 8 second freefall....what....why...s#*t...man....fab.....aaaaaarrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh! Utterly amazing....I wanna go again.....now!I laughed for the next hour!!! Even as I walked back up the hill with no shoes on and several hundred leeches feeding on my legs!

So....next is the friendship highway through Tibet and onto China.....funny...even as I write it....it doesn't seem real somehow! Somebody pinch me....I don't want this to end!!!
