Day 44 We took a walk into the CBD of Surfers Paradise which is about 4km. We walked around for a short while until our appetite's kicked in and we headed to the beach to eat lunch. Day 43 Today was our last day in Byron Bay before heading to Surfers Paradise. We headed down to Main Beach and found out that they were holding an International Triathlon over the Olympic distance. We saw the start of the Pro mens and womens swim and then headed upto the transition area to see them start out on their bikes. Day 42 We got the body boards and snorkels and went to Watego's Beach. We went out to body board although the waves weren't very good, and the water was too cloudy for snorkelling too. We pretty much lazed around until it went a bit cloudy and then we decided to dig our way back to the UK. We made it about a metre and decided to get in the hole for some photos. This was the highlight of our day.

Day 41 As it was coming towards the end of our time at Byron Bay we decided to buy snorkels and go snorkelling around 'The Wreck'. We were really suprised to see how many big fish where in such shallow water, which was only about 12ft. The Wreck has been split into 3 parts and we spent about an hour snorkelling around it. Day 40 Today was a week from when Lorna sliced her finger so we brought some waterproof plasters and headed to Little Watego Beach for a Bodyboard. The surf was really good and caught some of our best waves. We must've travelled about 50m on one.
