Hi Lorraine! Just wishing you a very Happy Easter!. I just had a read of your last two blogs before i would ring mam. You really seem to have a talent for this selling and i'm so glad you don't mind doing it. I think its wonderful that you had a chance to do something different. Mind you, I wasn't well with these team-building exercises of piggy-backs and wheel barrows etc! I was just picturing you and that would definitely have been a pure nightmare for me! Talk about being out of your comfort zone-but good on you for doing it. Not much news from here. Lambs nearly finished-just 9 left.
Tom was 65 yesterday! We had 7 Germans to visit so we did n't do anything yet for the birthday. They have just got authorisation at school for and Autism unit, so it looks like that will be his next project to get that organised: more building!. He is gone golfing this morning with Kilcoona GS and was up at 7am!-awake at that time on my day off!. He is playing golf on mon.afternoon with Berney Glynn, John and tom's friend, Noel Henderson.
Margaret is coming Sun. eve, so no doubt, we will take Mon. afternoon off too: I don't know what we'll do yet but Im sure Mam will have a plan!. Have a great easter and we're counting the weeks until you are home - the place is not the same without you!

I am really pissed off Lorraine as I had a big long message written and it just disappeared !!! Too lazy to re-write it. Hope all is well with you. Will write tomorrow
Mam
Well hope you got some sleep in yhe middle of the 16! I got the Anthisan today and posted it. Only two tubes though because the girl in the pharmacy was reluctant to give me three. Anyone would think you were going to eat it with the carryon she had! We will see how it goes. You might not use as much if the weather is getting colder. Use sparingly! We can always send some more anyway.
No more sca really since I was talking to you. Take care and good look with the sales!
Mam
Not too bad to get the one sale and to be half way there. Whats the name of the hostel you are going to and I can google it?
Just home from work. late two evenings in a row. They would want to smarten their act!
Dad had routine check up and bloods with doc. Got results today. Said the Doc told him he had the body of an elite athelete, and to go home and have a fry and a few pints. I wonder!!! Everything was normal though it seems! No other news. Chat soon. Hope the hostel is ok.
Mam
Glad you were able to look at the dvd. It had to be lonesome but it might make it all a bit more real for you. Mind you its not even real here. Still hard to believe she is gone. Dad has made some attempts to go down the road forgetting and realises half way down, but sure they were up and down so much for the last few months it would be hard for the brain to get out of the habit. As you could see on the dvd though, she really did get a lovely send off. Dad will fill you in on the people at Mass when you get home. Its nearly the first evening of the funeral you would want to have seen on the dvd when all the locals were there!
Can,t in my wildest dreams picture the piggy back race! They seem to be stone mad! Hopefully you will get off early tomorrow.
Dad, Mary and Gerry are gone to Barefield for the months mind Mass for his aunt that died the week before Nana. She really doesnt have any relatives only the Corofin ones. Glynns and Fureys. Nanas months mind is not until Saturday 6th April because we are not allowed have it on Easter Saturday.
No more sca. Glad its Friday and like yourself I will have the long weekend next week. Maybe that will give you a chance to get a place to stay. Txt me when I can skype. I should be home. Nothing exciting in the diary for the weekend. Take care. Mam

Hi Lorraine, Delighted that you got to watch the funeral DVD. Of couse it was emotional but lovely to hear all the nice things that were said about Nana. You shoud feel very proud to have had such a wonderful granny. Had a lb off on Wednesday night and was very lucky to have anything as I was bold on Paddy's day. I have 1st. 5 lost bit am finding it hard at the moment to keep it going.
I met Shell and Sarah last night with Claire and we had a very enjoyable evening. Both seem to be in great form. Sarah has settled in well in the new job and of course Shell might as well have been living here forever.
You seem to be getting on ok at the sales. I thought you would hate it!! so well done to you. No more news for now. Will write again soon
Mam
Congrats, the pb has fairly jumped up. You seem to be a bit of a social worker going around listening to stories about wraps of daughter-in-laws!
Big contract on here today with Dad putting new window in the far room because the timber was rotten in the other one. You know Dad, he starts hammering and chiseling without covering or moving anything. Dust everywhere but I suppose it will be sorted by evening and I will just have a bit more washing to do! Hope the accomodation scene improves. Mind yourself.
Mam
We need to start praying for accommodation in case Laura throws you out! Hopefully tomorrow will be a better sales day. I,m just in the door from work at 7.30pm and I am supposed to pick up Patricia at 7.45pm to go to the snug to meet Orla and Carmelita. Orlas Dad died too since we last met so there could be a lot of funeral talk! Chat soon. Take care!.
Mam
Well lady, at least you got the one sale again today and it sounds like you enjoyed the view as well while you were giving your pitch. Hopefully some decent accommodation will turn up soon.
The dvd will be hard to look at even though its lovely. Sure you don,t have to look at it until you come home if you like.
We had a quiet St. Patricks day too. Didn,t even bother to make a dinner when there was only the two of us here so we went to the Arches in the evening after the matches. Mary and Tom joined us for a while when they were on the way home from a funeral.
St Thomas' and Bridgets had great wins. Dad was talking to a friend from St Thomas this morn he got home from the game at 6am! At 11.30am he had the jobs done, was having the fry and was ready for the road again. A great day for the parish!
Did nothing exciting today for the bank holiday. Auntie Bernie came for coffee so we had a bit of a natter. Have to get the uniform ready now for the morn. Hope you get two sales tomorrow! Take care.

Ah, I felt tearful myself when I read that you were upset just looking at the front cover of the funeral DVD. It's such a lovely photo of Nana and it's hard to believe taht you will never see her again(not until the next life anyway!!) However it's great that you had her for so long and that you had a good relationship with her. The fact that you look so much like her means that there is some of her left behind !!
We had a very quiet Paddy's day as we were home alone. I am looking forward to meeting up with Shell and Sarah this coming Thursday-hopefully we won't have to change it again!!!
I was talking to Mam this morning and she seems to have finally recovered from her dose thank God-she was very sick.
No more news for now. Talk soon again
