Great to see you are back in action. We are just home from a Keanes concert in the claregalway. The laptop was on the table and i decided to check, not expecting to find anything and surprise surprise there it was. Its taken me at least 10 mins to read it out to Dad. He gets away with this all the time! Its now 2.30am and I really need to go to bed. He enjoyed the concert by the way. He had a night off from the hospital. It seems Nana was ok today. Did a good bit of walking with the walking aid. By the time you get to interview the 42 people you will probably be finished in New Zealand. Glad ytou have people to be with. Take care. Chat soon.

Well Lorraine, I presume at this stage you have reached Auckland. You are probably enjoying the cool air, I just want to let you know that Nana had a better day today. She was more comfortable and sitting out on an armchair. It might be a temporary pickup but at least she had ease today. I was back at work today. It didn,t change really! Busy busy. At least we have the weekend again tomorrow evening! We also have Micks anniversary Mass, so we will all be together again for that. Plenty of chat. First day of 2013 and a bad start!
It was all going well until I went to bed. The iphone was plugged in charging and I was reading a bit, as I often do. I finished and left it on the locker beside me but it fell, as it often does. When I picked it up the screen was white with lines through it. This isn't a good sign!!!!
I'll craic up if I don't have the iphone!!
I turned on the laptop straight away and googled it. There were comments from people saying to press certain buttons which I did but they didn't work. Then other people say that an apple store can fix it. There is one in the shopping centre so I'll be over there tomorrow! Lots of people are saying it's really dear to fix and others saying it isn't fixable at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had insurance on it for the first year in Ireland but they wouldn't renew it as I wasn't in Ireland. Typical.
Say a prayer that it is fixable and not too expensive. Between photos (which I uploaded most of the other day), the blog, google maps, whatsapp, viber, etc, etc I don't think I can survive without it!!!!!!!
That may be a slight over-reaction!
