Day 46: 15/8/12
Got brought to the airport this morning. Had to cross through to Argentina again. Had to wait around in the airport for about two hours. It was fairly small so I just listened to music.
The flight was only about two hours, so it was grand. All the flights are the exact same! They come around with a drink and a snack- crackers, cookies and a biscuit like a chocolate Kimberley with dulce de leche in it- this sweet caramel stuff they have over here. I'm getting fairly sick of those packages!!
In Buenos Aires there was a man with a sign waiting for me! He told me to wait there and he'd get the car. After about 10mins standing at the side of the road he appeared back in a car! If he had been much longer I would have been having doubts!
The hotel is right in the centre- or what seems to be the centre! The room is grand- clean and no ants!!
I went for a short walk around. I seem to be in the middle of everything which means lots of traffic so I didn't bother going far. I've a city tour tomorrow so I didn't feel like exploring too much! I had lunch in McDonald's- it was right across the road so I couldn't refuse it! It's easier to eat there cos you don't need any English to order! Even in the hotel they don't seem to have much English.
When I came back there was an envelope user the door with the times for the tours over the next two days. There was nothing for today which I thought was a bit silly! So I just doses for the evening- watched friends, csi, bog bang theory- things I haven't seen in a few weeks!! It was a very lazy day really, but I think I'm entitled to an odd one!!
I'd only one problem today and that was that I couldn't figure out how to flush the toilet! (of course this was after I'd used it!) The one thing that looked like it might flush it was just loose and didnt do anything! So I had to get very resourceful and empty the bin for the toilet paper, fill it with water from the shower and pour it down the toilet. It more or less flushed it. I'll tell the hotel in the morning and see how are really supposed to flush it!
