That's it - the trip is over and we are now living in Sheffield! Another new chapter!

HAPPY NEW YEAR UPDATE EMAIL FROM MARY I write this a year on from the powder hills of Whistler, its now 'puking' there and we are craving the white stuff but the colourfull, bustling and crazy city of Bangkok is keeping us busy and taking that craving away. So after a week celebrating the new year on Ko Pha-gnan and Samui, we spent our first week in Bangkok and loved it. Next stops north Thailand, then Laos and Cambodia.

YAY we arrived in RIO! Boo - we had one sunny day and then it rained for 4 days solid! Ah well - we made the most of it. We caught up with an old friend Peach, we visited a Flavela, and we managed to view Rio from Sugar Loaf Mountain and the view is just amazing. Anyway - everyone needs to see Rio in the sun so we´ll just have to go back.....

GO to MORRO DE SAO PAULO! It´s 2 hrs by boat from Salvador and it rocks. Nice beaches, gorgeous waters, and lots of nice drinkies to be had whilst relaxing on the beach. From Natal we took a 21 hour bus ride to Salvador and stayed there for 2 nights in total - a very mad place with a strong african influence where they all like to bang their drums all night long!
