Slow updates
Currently at Copan Ruins in Guatemala drinking the local cerveza watching the evening rain fall.
The trip is going great so far. I had one of my hardest riding days to date through the Guatemala highlands. The locals towns were imposable to navigate and the last 35 miles was on dirt and mud. That was ok but one section of the road was diverted because of a big land slide and a makeshift road was made. After slipping and sliding around squeezing between bogged trucks and dropping the bike once I finally made it through although it took 1 hour to do 2km. All up for the day had taken 10 hours to do 200km. Now that's adventure motorcycling.
I've been a little slack on updating the travel blog, will get back up to speed shortly. Web access has been a bit on the thin side further I head south.
Cheers
Greg
