Day 12 - 25 July Jasper Rest Day

Rest Day.

I had to set up camp in the overflow camp ground again, all the parks were booked out. Tent ended up being in the same spot as yesterday for $10 a night. It has a toilet but no showers, starting to get well overdue.

Spent the morning trying to find why the oil light was coming on. I had noticed the thermo wasn't coming on so I tried to turn it by hand, it was seized. The plastics had to come off and 2 hours later I managed to free it up with some CRC. A couple of test runs during the day and it seems to be working ok. I think it has been like this for a long time. Not happy with BMW as I put the bike in for a full service just before I left.

I spent the rest of the day touring around outer Jasper. The only wildlife I crossed was wild goats. There are still a lot of people around, this place is very popular. It hit 35 degrees today, I think from here it will only start getting hotter and hotter, better get used to it.

Updated my little coffee maker as I Ieft my other one at the Hostel in Anchorage.
