wow what an amazing day! we did a 3 in one tour today from 7.00-7.00! started at the floating market where you get in a little boat and go up and down the canal buying bits and pieces from people in ther boats on the water and the walk ways around. then you have the chance to go to a snake show everyone went but i did feel really sorry for the snakes afterwards and not sure i agree with it. these crazy men aggitate cobras and dodge them as they try to bite them . then they put a snake in with a mongoose which bit the snakes head! they took the snake out but said 1 more minute it would have been eaten by the mongoose to be honest i expect it would rather have been finished off after having its head biten-mongoose are not cute and cuddly anymore! next onto the bridge over the river kwai in kanchaubari and the war memorial which was interesting. had lunch on a floating restaurant. finally the best part( thanks lucy for recommending it!) the tiger temple!

monks have resuced tigers from poachers and they live in the temple grounds along with deer, boares, cows, goats etc. from 1-3 they take the tigers into this rocky small canyon and you can stroke and have your picture taken with them-it was unreal! there was a cub too that was so palyful! these ones are hand reared but they are rasing money to build aproper compound for new rescued cats to like it to rehabiliate before being released!

anyway this is bloody long sorry! we are getting the over night train tomorrow to chiang mai to do a 3 day trek should be fun!
