Hi Laura! You are in India now! Time flies, doesn't it? It's very cold in Fukuoka, so I really envy you. Our cat Agri is now lying on, what we call, a hot carpet , his most favorite place in winter. Enjoy your trip in India. Say hello to the elephants. XXX
Alex
Lovely to get another blog from you! Very exciting that you've seen elephants. Would love some cardammon from the plantation, have a new recipe which uses cardammon. Can't believe we'll be seeing you soon. Mla

Hello Laura! Merry Christmas! Oooop....maybe not quite...am getting confused. Am listening to Mariah's version of Silent Night and my v.fav 'All I want for Christmas' and getting ahead of myself. The reason I have cracked open the Carey so early? Am writing my Christmas cards! Can't believe it's that time again. I have written yours! New Zealand sounds lovely, all these white peaks and hot springs, it's a real mix isn't it? And I bet you're excited for India now...you must be off soon? If not already there. Newsiness since we spoke....S asked me for a second interview with the editorial director and editor...but I couldn't make the exact time they said so I havent heard from them since!!! I despair! Christmas parties begin this week....last week I had some hol and went home and made a Christmas cake and mince pies. AND I went to the Birmingham Christmas market at the weekend :) Had a crepe and Gluwein and thought of you. Cam's coming to visit Jen and I in a couple of weeks...Jen trying to persuade her to go roller discoing...not sure she's too receptive! We shall miss you! Look forward to seeing you soon XXX

Hi Laura, Just caught up on your blog - still sounding good. I started my new job last Wednesday - I think I'm going to be kept very busy! I really miss everyone at the Walker and I'm gutted I won't be around when you get back. This move has made me realise that despite how difficult it can be sometimes I really love the people. Can't wait to see you in the New Year xxx
Jess

Will look forward to hearing first hand about it all along with seeing what must be some great pics. Don't know how quickly you feel the trip is going from your end but it really does seem to be flying by. It's always odd when we are waking up here to think you have completed your day's adventures! Keep on having a wonderful time. Much love xx
