Ahhhh,I'm vy envious of your koala stroking, any signs of a platypus Randolph wants to know? The beach sounds idyllic and I'm sure the macculloch fruit bat was in 7th heaven with all the fruit about.
Busy here with exhibitions and study days, have the Carringtons coming over this Sunday.

Sounds like Oz really has been treating you to some spectacular sights and tastes! I know you'll love Byron Bay- if you get a chance and fancy a walk, try to fit in a hike up Mt Warning, the highest most easterly point of Australia, great for seeing the sunrise before everyone else! Look forward to hearing more soon, and your thoughts on Queensland when you cross the border!

Good to hear that you and Darren beat the mountain road safely and envious of your whale dolphin watching. Glad too you were able to catch up with curatory friends in Sydney. I know you're pressed for on line time in the midst of all your activity but if you do you might like the Facebook photos of Alex and Henry at wembley. Mla

Gooday Miss Morsel!! Happy Australia! Have you seen the queen yet?! Missing you here! Gone chilly, clocks back this weekend, many berries for squidging under foot, X Factor and Strictly season well under way, am on the hunt for knee high boots that do not slouch AND I have thus far brought home two freebie Christmas puddings from work. A girl can never have too many! Not this girl anyway. Emily's other morsels....I made chocolate meringues this weekend. You would have loved them. Way more than your autumn leaf shaped sweets, oh yes! :) Also Jamie's roasted tomato soup...ummmm. We missed you at Jen's birthday...Connie brought delicious red velvet cupcakes. They would definitely have made it onto your blog! No worky news....S still hasn't made up its mind....sigh. It's been almost three months! Enjoy some very different morsels down under (huuuuuge lemon meringue maybe!) XXX

Yesterday I happened to see Noriko(Inos***a sennsei) and talked about your stay in Fukuoka. She misses you very much! Now she's a mother of one and a half year old cute baby boy. Hope you'll have a good time in Australia. xxx

Glad you had such a good time in Kyoto, with a little bit of you left there on the roof for posterity. Hope you've had a safe trip to Australia. Mla

Yes, I can see you're getting about the same amount of sleep as me nowadays. Hope you don't tire yourself out though.
I love the idea of the photographing chef; could Laura have found her match when it comes to food photography?! But what a wonderful concept, no menu, just cooking food based on the diners' tastes; it sounds delicious.
Looking forward to hearing more about your time in Kyoto; have fond memories from our trip to visit you - I can't belive it's almost 10 years ago!

Hey you, first of all you look like your having an amazing gastronomical adventure. Now down to business - Strictly - they've been very naughtly pairing Artem with Holly Valance - they already seem to be flirting like mad. They dance really well together as well. Harry from McFly is very cute and good as well but the surprise hit is Jason Donavan who is very good! Next, I have a bit of work gossip. When you get back from your travels I'm afraid I won't be there. I've got a temporary (four months) promotion working in Collections as Executive Officer. Not sure when I'm starting yet - only found out on Thursday. Will keep you posted. Lots of love Jxxxx

Loving reading about all your adventures and looking at all the photos. Looking forward to the next instalment. Hope the insect bites aren't driving you too mad, Laura. Love to you both xxx

Glad to know you and Darren are spending happy holidays! Yuka and I really enjoy reading your blog. Agri, our cat, can't read it, though. Anyway he's Genki and running about our house. I love Okonomiyaki sooooo much. Wish I could enjoy it with you!××
