hey everybody, im so sorry i havent posted an update in so long....first of all i was super busy and then the past week when i have been able to get online for some reason i couldnt sign onto my account...technical problems! anyways...im having a fab time.

the gold coast is very nice and we have visited areas surrounding it, one was called surfers paradise which was pretty commercialised and very busy. we also went to a place called byron bay which was full of little shops and cafes and a lovely beach. me and tilly had a good chill on the beach for a few hours and then met sarah and rob (the people we are staying with on the gold coast) for a bit of lunch on the beach front! very nice!

we've also been to australia zoo aka steve urwins zoo! it was awesome, we went to a show where they showed you loads of snakes and crocs and all sorts of animals, dad wouldve hated it but im sure toby and ol wouldve loved it! then we had a look around and there were all sorts of animals, my favourite being the koala, they feel just like a teddy bear! i stroked one, they sit in trees and hardly look real, if someone had of told me they were stuffed toys i wouldve believed them! we also watched the elephants geting washed! it was fab! they went into a hige pool after and me and til were dying to see them squirt thmsleves with water from their trunks but no such luck. so the zoo was a great day out!

we've also been to a realy good water park called wet n wild! which was great. the slides were absolutely huge and they had all sorts of different water rides. the first one we went on was an absolutely huge drop into a whirlpool....where we nearly lost our bikini tops! was very funny, we also went on big blackholes and a lazy river which was more of a chore than relaxing! lol. we had a pretty good sunbathe that day too and got airbrush tattoos which was a good laugh...i loved mine but im glad it wasnt permanant.

the gold coast is really lovely but everything is pretty spread out so its a bit difficul for us to get around. one day we attempted the buses and got stuck in the middle of we dont know where for about and hour and twenty mins, and that day there was a bit of a breeze and we have no cardi's so we werent overly pleased!

the house we are staying in here is lovely tho and me and til have got our own rooms each, which is lovely to have our own space but im having serious withdrawal symptoms from being so used to being wih tilly all the time...goodness knows what im going to do when we get home! i love her to bits shes fab and we are getting on so well, we get each other and make a good team! so thats all i think of about the gold coast...if i think f anthin else ill add it on!
