From Krabi we crossed the border into Malaysia and arrived in pengang. This is quite a historical island with the British building a fort there etc, so we thought that we should go and see that as well as visiting a big Chinese temple. This is well behind time, but have quite a bit of time in perth to kill so am going to do some major catching up on the blog and then try and keep it updated better than I have been. We got the overnight train to chang mai where we relaxed for a bit got some breckie and then thought we would go for a swim as the hotel had a link with another hotel which meant we could use there pool for free! Hiya we are writing this first blog from Bangkok. We have been here for 3 days now!! The temperature out his is about 30 degrees and it is very humid as well. The first couple of days we explored the main sights, like the grand palace and Wat Po (the reclining buddah). We have also seen a couple of other temples.
