at mum's today getting ready to go to the Smiths house for gran's "party". We wish that you could be here but we are glad that u r having fun on the other side of the world.My Mum has just had her bee hive delivered(whatever next?) so we can't sunbathe topless in the garden !!!!Me and Kes are looking forward to seeing the pictures of those navy guys. Hi sis. Hope you get better weather in Perth than you did in Sydney. I'm just on my way out to Gran's to finally do the garden. Lovely weather here. Think I'll just wear my shorts and t-shirt. Ha-ha! Bet that makes you jealous. 3 weeks to go and I'll be in Ibiza. Woo-hoo!!! Keep enjoying yourself and get loads more pics for us to see. And remember - don't take things from strangers, such as free drinks. Didn't your parents teach you anything? Have fun.

Have been to many shops but only bought a few things so far - am trying to remember that everything that I buy will add weight to my backpack and that's the last thing I need!! I know that I won't think like that for long though and the urge to shop and spendwill take over so I may start sending things home!!! Been too cold so far for swimming in the oceans but we have had a little paddle along Manly Beach!
I don't know why the time settings are different!? Maybe they will be the same now that we have changed state.
Glad I'm not missing out on too much back home or at work. I have had to spell out my name a lot as these Aussies don't understand Scottish names so I have been practicing my phonetic alphabet, although I haven't been brave enough to sing the song yet! Maybe when I get a few Tooheys (the local beer) down me!!

Trust you made it to Perth ok without getting any blisters from sitting so long. Hope the train was a better quality than we get here. At least you could catch up on your sleep - unless you kept gabbing to the locals (if there is such a thing on a journey that long) or other travellers. Looking forward to the next batch of photos. Aunty Mary was just on the phone enquirying after you, so I filled her in (not literally you understand). Anyway, off to bed now. Keep up the reports. Sydney looks an amazing place, just hope the weather gets better for you. The photos are fab and so good to see all the places uve been!!!
Feels like uve been gone for so long now, but bet its flying in for you!

Hi wee bob, ur cousins are sinking a bottle of wine (not Aussie though) and reading ur site. looks like u r having a ball hope u r managing to max ur credit cards at the same time as all this sight seeing! Hope the weather is a million times better in Perth. Lets face it, it can't be any worse than it is in Aberdeen. Am loving the virtual tour of Australia but no more scenic views please, where are all the muscly males ?????

Hey everyone!! Sorry I've not been updating as regularly as I thought I would, have just been having really busy days and then been tired at night! I can't believe how early I have been falling asleep some nights! Oh well, I will have plenty of time to sleep on our journey to Perth!
I have added another postcard but can't get my photos on here just now, I will try to get to another internet place later tonight though or in the morning before we leave Sydney, as from then I won't be adding anything for a few days.
