Im loving the pictures there great! melbourne totally looks buzzing my kinda town, glad yous are having a ball wish i was there! anyway finally got some news my bro band has just finished his cd its great im loving it and guess what billy sloan at clyde 1 has asked for a copy to give it air play how cool is that! im so excited!!! think of all the shoes he can buy me when he is famous haha! on the down side i had a scary expeirence in the gorbals on sat night, my neighbour was crying outside cause shed missed her taxi in to town so i thought id do a nice thing and run her in. on my way back a group of boys throw a bottle at my presious car and i ran over it my tyre blew out and when i went to slow down the boys opened my car door, so i drove of fast and scraped all my bloody door!!! b******s! so that cost me to get that fixed! anyway im in my work sciving so i better go love yous, lisaxxxxxxx

Wow, have just checked out your pics from the Great Ocean Road, and soooooo want to be there! Hope you're still having fun (not that I'm in any doubt on that one!) and that the plastic is continuing to flex. Hi Laura, fianlly managed to get up-to-date with all your travels. I don't seem to get online as much now-a-days, what with this new fella of mine but hey, we both know how annoying he can be ;). John's wedding was great, you'd have loved it, I took lots of photos so really you'll not have missed too much by not being there. Sounds like you're having a fab time and the photos are great, I'm getting so jealous and I really want to get away myself after reading all about your trips. Have fun and take care. G'day, sorry for the delay, hotmail playing silly beggars again. If you're still in Melbourne, 3 must do's - 1 Philip Island in the evening, to see the penguin parade, when they all come back from a hard day at the office. 2 Take a car along the Great Ocean Road - postcards don't even start to do it justice, the rock formations would be described back home as 'kinshooj. 3 Take a tram to St Kilda to the Esplanade pub just opposite the pier for good live music (it was in that Aussie equivalent of 'This Life' that was on late at nights a few years back. You might also get penguin activity at St Kilda too.)
To be honest, the Great Ocean Road is the really must do if you're not a penguin freak like me.
Anyway, now I've made contact, I'll go read up on your adventures to date, and probably find out you've already done stuff above!

Yo Bob - hope you can read this through any hangover you may have - trust you didn't keep your roomies awake during the night with any chundering ;). Gave Fiona a reminder about this site - you sent the details to her dodgy email address. She said she'd post a message with some ideas for things to do/places to go round the Melbourne area. I think she said you were near pingu country. Apparently Cameron is word perfect for the first verse and chorus of American Idiot - he was singing it on the Brighton train recently! She must be better at teaching him about music than I was with Andy - I think he was about 6 before he got into Guns 'n Roses! Let's hope he sticks with the good stuff. Took Gran prints of your 'postcards' to read for herself - managed to print the ones up to the 19th (had to do it at work during my lunch hour). Anyway, she sends her love. Don't know if I should do prints for AM or maybe you should just send her a real postcard. Looking forward to the next update. Mum xxx
