We headed straight for Barrett and Dave's place when we arrived (this was going to be home while in Sydney).

For the next week or two we just went to the beach and organized our trip along the coast and of course build up for Christmas and New Years!!Before Christmas we went to the opera house.We had dinner in the opera bar before hand and then went to a Christmas show in the evening.We also went to Palm beach to check out the set of Home and Away.

We went to a friends house on Christmas Eve where we all had Christmas dinner and then headed to the CBH afterwards.Our night was cut short as we got word that there were some presents for us at home.We woke up Christmas morning and had a champagne breakfast with the two girls in the apartment (staying in Dave's room) and after we went to Randwick for mass.The plan was to be on the beach for the day but unfortunately it was raining all day so we just went down in the evening but could not stay out in the rain!!We headed to a party that night in a friends house.

On Stephens day we all went to the Randwick races and had a great day.When all this was over the focus was then on New Years!!We met up with the O Donovans for dinner before New Years.We went to Hurricanes restaurant in Bondi who are famous for their ribs!! It was a quiet few days until New Years came along!!We went down to Yarranabee Park on New Years eve armed with our picnic and booze for the next few hours! The park had good views of the Harbour Bridge, where we sat out for the day with half of Bishopstown as it turned out and waited for the fireworks.An unbelievable night and something we will never forget!

When New Years was over we had to focus on our coastal trip.We headed to Cairns on the 5th Jan.
