Ah ha!!! Found you!! I lurrrve the pickies and can't wait to show the boys when they get home from school. Hope you aren't scratching yourself to smithereens with all those bites. Big love Dottsxx

Thank goodness you come from amazon stock!! Your experience does actually lend credence to the myth and perhaps explains its origins. I'm imagining lots of Nias being sent into battle for punishment. I had wondered where the brothers had gone, but the thought of Dad being kept as a slave still does not bear thinking about..... Relieved you are out of the jungle. Am fully addicted to your websites and hope that eco-tourism might still be found in South America. Keep safe....

Yikes! Sounds like it wasn't the 4/6/8 legged wildlife you had to watch out for... am debating whether to show Dad the blog, I don't think he could take it! Hxxx

Hi Lizzie
Great pics! Glad to hear you are getting the hang of this travelling lark and having great fun. Looking forward to hearing the next instalment. I am now back at work - so now I am really depressed!! Thought I would carry on the great Lugg tradition anyway by sitting in the library sending emails to my pals when I should be working!!
Be in touch soon
love Sara xx

Hi Liz, Pleased to read that you've so far managed to keep out of trouble. All here is as was & with the exception of retirement dinner last Friday not much to report. Looking forward to the pic's.

Lordy lordy Lizzie, looks amazing and I am so impressed with your IT skills-especially liked the piranha pictures...remind you of anyone? Anyway i have gone from having no e-mail to desperately looking forward to the next installment and looking at photos in between patients. Keep them coming. Enjoy Salvador and catch some rays as you're still looking a bit pasty but the pizza face is coming on nicely! The Hindmarshes miss you loads although there is still a faint smell of eau de Lugg in the spare room. Chill out but keep safe. Loads of love CarrieXXXXXX and big sloppy kiss from RoosterXXXXXX

Lizzie darling. Newcastle is quiet without you. There were many of us in the Live for lunch today (still talking about Lugg's do - but we have moved on to talking about what she might be getting up to in the Amazon!!!!!!!! )Well, we can't be there so we can only fantasise. Stay safe and enjoy the experience.

Delighted that you managed to get out of the clerk's room at last! It looks as though you are having a fabulous trip.
Keep going. We are all thinking of you and wishing you well.

Dad
Hi Liz,
Very jealous, have always longed to see the Amazon, and you've beaten me to it! Mum has pinned your map up onto the breakfast room wall and our eyes are drawn to it all the time, imagining where you might be. Are you going up-river or down-river from Manaus? We will be in touch with Hatty over the coming week, so will hear your news down our mobiles when we find reception on top of the moor!
Watch ya back.
Lots of love
Dad
