Well I am nearly packed. Taken too many clothes, case full of monkey's things!!! Trying to do a roast dinner, get plants sorted incase of frost, visited the folk at Ashcombe rd and had my jab per kindness of Fiona! Got to 8 am service so I feel knackered!!!! Hope to sleep on flight.
A beautiful sunny day. Bet it rains in S.A. I will be very popular.
I hope life is getting easier. Moving onto new countries must be confusing as well as that dreaded feeling of finding your feet yet again. everyone asks after you. You are very much admired. You can sense the difference in the age gap here!!!
Well Darling take care. I hope Hatty will keep me up to date.
Thankyou for your lovely call. It was marvellous to hear you. I feel it in my waters that this trip can only get better for you!!!!!!!!!
Fondest love Mum Mum (again)

Got back from the wilderness last week , had a great, time though i must report couch potato executives who fly round the world business class do not make great outdoors men.I love him like a brother , but thats cos he is , however not shaving for a week does not a Grizzly Adams make , .where was my Queens Guide (with Baden Powell Award) when i needed her.
We went white water rafting which was great , what really made it was when sean andi turned up fully kitted up (you've never seen so much wick away material) to meet our fellow paddlers on this no doubt life threatening adventure. Bo ,the spiritual leader of the Montgomery Chapter of the Alabama Baptist Church OAPs was 70 if he was a day and dressed in Seersucker ,his wife Clarice was no child bride either and actually took her handbag into the raft.
All was going well until the only other septic onboard not requiring an iron lung and a stairmaster refered to me as a limey and mentioned saving our Asses in WWII. At this point the inherent diplomat in me took over and i pointed out that far from saving our ARSES that they had selflessly charged us for every bullit that they had ever sent us and only joined in after War had already been declared on them at this point i probably should have let it lie , but decided to push on by pointing out that any other time we had let them play soldiers by themselves they'd managed to totally f*ck it up. At this point i really should have stopped ,but carried on to mention that i only wished we had been quite so selfless when it came to the War On Terror .At this point i really really should have stopped but i couldn't help putting the words 'George Bush' and 'f*cking Moron' (the * is for your mums benefit) together. More to follow

Hi Liz, I have a msm account thingy and a web cam, IM me at [email protected] , it would be wonderful to see you too via a webcam! The beaches look fabulous, as do the lethal cocktails! is there an address I can send you something to? Your message board is making me all homesick for Newcastle! I might go up and the end of October for a bit, if I do I'll take my laptop and webcam so you can see everyone! Keep having fun and keep safe!!! Love G.

Great watching in on your chat yesterday and contributing when I could. You keep enjoying yourself out there. Jealous as hell with all that you are experiencing (apart from the spiders maybe).
Certainly beats the hell out of this geeky training course!!!! Keep the Blog coming.

Hi Lizzie, after our wonderful msn chat yesterday, we had a power cut in Gosforth (for about 4 hours) - had the whole crew round (which was wonderful) and still manged to drink wine in the candle light. That's as exciting as things get over here - nothing compared to your adventures I am sure! Thanks for your next lot of photos - it almost feels like I am there with you ......well I am in spirit anyway - Take Care. Nadia x x x

Ha ha finally technology is on my side!!The 'spaces' website Hatty sent me doesn't work, I don't have a password for your other site so here goes! I figured that if Carrie had managed to post a message then I have no excuse!!!
Your pics look amazing and Lisa's gift has obviously come in quite handy! Can't wait to read the next installment. All is well here I'm still unemployed which is great as Christmas is only 2 months away! Didn't get the job I wanted at Redbull so no wings for me! Stupidly went round to Lisa'a the other night with only one bottle of wine, 4 bottles later I fell in the front door. My father used to be so proud of me until I moved back home, now he just looks at me every morning with a strange look of bewilderment (is she really my darling daughter) on his face.
Anyway keep on having loads of fun honey, take care of yourself lots of love Lizzy xxx
Vic
Morning!! Sadly my e-mail is down this morning so can't send you a message (or do any work) but internet is still working so am managing to fill my time looking on your various sites!!! Am still struggling with one of your hammocks, pleased its you not me that was in that jungle coz if I ever managed to get in the thing I certainly would never be able to get out! See you can talk to strangers and invariably make friends - not that horrid is it??
Glad you're having a great time, long may it continue.......take care lady, loads of love Vicxxxxxx

Hi Liz, wonderful to see all your pictures, looks like you are having a fantastic time and attracting a bit of pocket sized love interest! I am so useless on the computer, I can only access this site. All those hours procrastenating on Ebay have taught me nothing but how to buy secondhand useless junk on line! The flora and fauna look amazing, you are quite the wildlife photographer. London to day is warm, overcast and stressful, as ever! Our new place in Primrose Hill looks like it is about to fall over, no walls, floors, front etc.. Still it can only get better from now!? I've misplaced your agenda where are you off to next? I wish there was one of these sites for Newcastle so I could keep in touch with all the goings on up North! keep safe, Love G.
Lisa
Hi Luggster,
Great to see your photos and to know you are having fun and enjoying yourself. Not entirely sure about the jungle accomodation or creatures...you are one brave lady!Think I would rather fight off your guide than the 'mammal-like' tarantula. It all looks very exiting and as I sit here in overcast Gosforth I can't help feeling a tad envious. Pleased to see the torch is proving useful, you don't look at all ridiculous......Be safe, miss you loads, love Lisaxxx
