Sorry - same pic -just a quick note to let you know that i returned from the jungle....what an experience on many levels!! the jungle itself is breathtaking. It is not like walking through a set of a david attenborough programme, but it is lush (at last I use that word in its correct context!) and the birds are lovely. It would seem however that I have lost none of my insatiable attraction to the two commen pests of south america - mosquitos (i am sporting 23 bites on my face alone) and my odd desirability for short south american males. i could not take the constant nibbling of either after four days, so i came home early! i will write up a proper account of it all on the other website soon http://travelog.uberblog.com (i think!) username luggster. anyway - must dash - supper with my 3 new best friends, which is like a UN convention, brasilian, spanish, me and the obligatory yank! bye for now and again, thanks for the messages! xxxxxxxx
