Hey folks! Just a quick update... We eventually got to the lovely sandy beaches of Krabi around lunch time after a bus ride from 7pm-5am, being dropped in the middle of nowhere for 4 hours and then another bus, and then finally a little boat that we had to wade out to with our packs on! BUT ITS HOT AND SUNNY!! wahoo!!! (although it does tend to rain in the afternoon for 10 mins!) We are staying here for New Year although its a bit of a honey...

Back in Bangkok now, such a change from Cambodia! We drove from Siem Reap to the border and it only took 5 hours. Now you might be thinking, 5 hours? thats ages. Especially when you hear the distance is about 150km. But about a month ago it would have taked about 9 or 10 hours. The road has been levelled a bit more though so we were lucky!! Hey again! Firstly sorry if it takes me ages to reply to emails! Its really hectic so don't get much time!! Had the most amazing day ever today... Started pretty rubbish with a 17hour train journey up to Chiang Mai , but we eventually got to our hostel and had the chance to go elephant trekking!
