Well, so far so good! My first day in Cairns went really well and I feel really comfortable that I am going to have a fab time here. So, only about 14hrs or so before I start zig zagging my way across Australia. I set off at about 6am tomorrow to catching my flight out of Brisbane up to tropical Cairns to explore the reef and rainforest. I have at least 2 things planned that I have never done before, which I figured was a great way to kick of the next 25 yrs of my life. Right... What have I been up to. I've finished working on Otello. It was a great learning experience, didn't go as well as I would have hoped. Dressing was good fun and I met some lovely people. :) Had a by of a health scare in November. Thankfully all in working order but it makes me glad I have the NHS at home. I spent the beginning of September working on the Brisbane Writers Festival as a Venue/Stage manager which was a fantastic experience and one that I found incredibly valuable and great fun.
