Hey Chez and Liz,
We are in Thailand as we write this and after 5 weeks here we can definetly recommend a few places so we will fill you in when we return. Its a must to go to Koh phangan and the moon party which is a backpackers paradise and around 10,000 take to the beach one nigh every month-truly amazing!
The food is great and very cheap and the people (locals) are the most friendly we have ever had the pleasure to meet! Good luck on your travels and remember its a once in a lifetime experience- savour it!!
