I sympathise with you eye complaint and in my experience Cheryl probably poked you in it, in the night when you was sound asleep. Cheryl once attacked me in work, by poking me in the eye and I had to wear an eye patch for a week. I am glad that bully has gone!

Heard you have arrived in H K.  you think you had typhoons, we had somthing like that today, but as if you care - at least I had a decent bed!!  Did you see anything different at the Disney zoo you hadn't seen before.  If Vietnam is the next stop hope they have better beds.   Enjoy and hope to message you again.  Lots of luv, Ruth, Jack and Millie.

ladies, managed to sit down for 5 mins and suss out this msg board thingy. glad to hear the start of trip has gone well albeit -champagne corks sounding like a gun going off on 9/11, fresh o mishap and half naked chinese man plus wrong terminal at manchester!! the adventure is truly under way. cheryl - noticed you didn't reply re cuban cigars, i take it they're in the post!! as for the washroon facilities - if you can do v-fest you can do downtown hong kong!! liz, make sure cheryl sleeps with mouth closed, catches flies u see! seriously, glad ur both safe and having fab time. big hugs ps liverpool drew on tues in champ league away from home, good result. charlotte, thanks for this on - cheryl would have killed me

It was good to read your post.

Pleased to hear you had a good journey and your travelling has begun. I expect you will have plenty more culture shocks before your travelling ends...its a bit tough to start off with tho...believe me, you will get used to it and at least you have a loo to sit on! How is it going with the food? Have you encountered any interesting cuisines yet?
