We have arrived in Quito after a tearful send off this morning at Heathrow !
Headed straight to the nearest bar starting the trip properly !!!
Phil only allowed a half as he´s on strict rations in case there are any stairs to negotiate !

Journey went without any hassles apart from the plane had arctic air con but Phil was kept happy by a plane load of breast feeding babes.....weird , obviously the cold had the desired effect on the nipples !!!

Met at the airport in Quito by Morgan the viking who is our guide up Cotopaxi later in the week, a three day climb of the worlds highest active volcano. Phil won´t push me in if I behave . We saw the volcano from the airport and it looked fantastic covered in snow .

Chilling for a few days to acclimatise , going to middle of the world monument on the equator tomorrow .

Left Phil having a beer as computers all in Spanish and he lost his rag with it !
