19th November 2009 - 23rd November 2009:
We left Koh Tao as soon as Sean completed his PADI licence and came straight to Koh Phangan.
This island is home to the infamous Full Moon Party but unfortunately we were not there for that….. or the Half Moon Party or the Black Moon Party - we were THAT unfortunate!!!
Sean was so knackered from his diving that we checked into a little place up the north of the island, away from the main hustle & bustle and just chilled out for five days solid with more BBQ's, sunbathing, swimming etc.
Halfway up the beach there was a big wooden swing that was attached to these massive overhanging trees so every time we walked by it, which was amazingly everyday, Liza insisted on having a go and swung merrily out over the beach like a big kid. The tide was so high that at certain moments during the day she would actually be floating over the sea itself - ah memories, many a great time on the swing was had!
On our last day we decided to visit a traditional English Pub, it looked just like something that you would get in Essex with its own beer garden and looked so out of place but so cool at the same time. We enjoyed a couple of pints and then treated ourselves to a roast beef dinner which went down a treat before heading for the ferry.
