Last day today, need to leave for the airport around 4pm. Spent the morning packing & copying the 1000s of photos of lakes/mountains/beaches etc from camera memory card - laptop - hard drive etc. Didn't get time to upload phone pics from the last few days to this site - will have to do it when am back.

We went out around lunchtime to the supermarket to stock up on hokey pokey (NZ's famous chocolate in case you're wondering) and then went for a walk near the airbase to check out a holiday cottage Andys parents are thinking of renting, then it was soon time to leave :(

So am writing this at the airport with a glass of sauvignon. Am sad to leave NZ (& Andy) but have 2 wks to race round the UK saying bye to family and friends then it's off to Brisbane for the next adventure......
