Today I had booked lunch at Jason Athertons Kensington Street Social, and he didn't disappoint, the food was fantastic and so reasonably priced (unlike some of his London restaurants). I had smoked mushrooms with feta to start, shared a mushroom flat bread before having roast cauliflower and fennel with cauliflower cous cous. For dessert I had yogurt and basil mousse with lemon curd & meringue.

After our leisurely lunch we went to Botany Bay. We walked through the woods up to the coastline & sat in the sunshine chatting. I wondered if my eyes were playing tricks when I could see water spraying up out to sea, but turns out it was a whale!

We walked down to the beach before heading back around 5. Phil cooked dinner while Pam & I soaked in the spa beneath their apartment. We then headed to bed not long after 9, early start tomorrow!
