Wow... I know many people who would like to adopt the whole inlaw-avoiding policy! I guess the whole placement-organising set-up does explain the confusion... Don't be scared, I'm sure you'll have an amazing time and learn loads of interesting things. Talking of interesting things, today I am going to a one hour teaching session on how to use the new blood glucose monitors that SUHT are investing in... Oh joy. xxx

.........after a male marries he is not allowed any interaction with his inlaws at all - it is seen as a social taboo!!!...........should I state the obvious? With my background is it appropriate for me to adopt Aborigine social norms?

Well this is my first venture onto the exciting travellers blog...you sound like you're having a great time! I'm working late today so I'm trying to be as unconstructive as possible until I have to leave for work in a bit *boooo*! Your first missed choir rehearsal was amusing in that we couldn't be in the normal room and I ended up playing the violin because we had no piano where we were...classic tilly moment!
Much love, will watch this space for updates, Frank sends his love (he's developed a liking for asparagus ends and blackberries...good taste tortoise), I'm sure shezz would send his love if he got his head from out of his arse...I definitely send love, hugs and not so much sunshine xxxxxx

Happy Australia day to Alexxx and all....
Vicks
Well don't you look happy in sunglasses and a strappy pink top. I've forgotten what sun or strappy tops look like. It's 8am on a rather overcast, drizzly Sunday morning in Southampton. And you say you miss us.... Enjoy Australia Day in Alice Springs!!!!! xxx
Rachel
Hope the BBQ went well and you ate lots of food on sticks!!!

tee hee...well there you go!!!
I'd say that removes any vestige of reason not to know it off by heart!!
Alexx was subjected to this tune daily until she was seven months old. Played regularly on Singapore radio and TV and often heard out in the streets.
God Save the Queen! That's what I say....
