super great day. left early this am from clarhesholm alberta after spending night at lazy J.Border crossing was a breeze with guard more interested in our bikes than us. Highway to the sun was beautiful but lots of construction which made going slow. We ended heading out of park mid afternoon and now on the way to Missoula KOA. Not sure bout tomorrow but as long as weather holds were having fun. Chow.

Weather finally breaks in mountains and we have dry day. Just south of Helena Montana at KOA for nite. This morning during breakfast at west gate of yellowstone park, so guy mentions to me a raven is attacking my bike!! Holy crap it was!! This giant raven was trying to unzip my tankbag and almost succeeded! He managed to tear off the Velcro tabs but luckily dropped them. My tag bag was partially unzipped by this way too smart raven. Uneventful but long windy ride...

OmG. We are close. Ass is on fire. Grant needs new back. 230 miles to go. Wish us luck.

Fell behind travel curve due to construction delay north Montana. Made up some in mountains great falls and Helena. 85 miles in 68 min. No deer or cops. Quick pit stop and on the road.

Left on time at midnite. Fueled up. Uneventful ride till grant blew headlight at 6:00am. Quick roadside repair and we arrived at opening carway border crossing 07:00. Breakfast stop in St. Mary's Montana. Holy crap it's cold. Been cold since 6:00 am.
