Today was our first lay in as we have managed to pass our diving course yesterday!! YIPEEEE, we did 5 dives in total and we are now qualified to dive to a maximum of 18meters, Great Barrier Reef here we come!! We are glad we have finished as we didnt realise just how tiring it would be. Now its time to relax on the beach for a few days and enjoy the island. We met a girl from chester called Bethan who's been on the island working at the local vetinary clinic, so she knows the place quite well and she took us to the other side of the island for a do it yourself bbq (after a 45 minute hike lol) all you can eat for 1.50 bargain! It was mainly for the locals a bit off the usual tourist track. The guys brought some really hot charcoals to our table for us to cook the meat on, we made a bit of a mess with the soup tho!! lol In the evenings we have been chilling at the beach bars on comfy loungers and watching some amazing fire shows! One night not to be missed tho was the ladyboy show, Oh my god they really looked like women, way too pretty to be men check out the photos you,ll be suprised. We have bought our ticket for the night boat to surat thani then we are gonna head across the main land to krabi and catch a boat to a secluded bay called Railay.
