Hey guys
sorry we haven't blogged for a while weve been having sooooo much fun we havent found the time! lol
On our way to San Diego we had a couple of days in Phoenix. We stayed at a place called Scottsdale right by the old town - it's a great little western area. There's a free trolley you can jump on and off wherever you like - we went straight to Fashion Square which has some fab shopping!
Sunday 15th we arrived in San Diego, our accommodation was right in the city centre, it was an ideal loation. We took a walk through the city and then came across an open top city tour bus which turned out to be free so we jumped right on! Tour took about an hour and took us all over, through little italy, old town, harbour etc.....
We went to a great restaurant down in the seaport village called edgewater for some lunch, we got a nice table on the balcony with fab views across the harbour right in the sun shine.....heaven!! I had a yummieee bowl of New England clam chowder which iv been wanting to try for ages and Daryl had a long awaited Pint of lager.....we all have our needs!! We finished our day by taking a walk along the water front and then a stroll through the trendy Gas Lamp Quarter on 5th avenue.
Next morning we drove to the old town, which was just like a mini mexico. Plenty of shops, restaurants and old fashioned buidings and museums with people walking around dressed in period costumes. We got talking to a cowboy who couldn't decide if he wanted to shoot his emies or just pistol whip em to save on bullets!!! Thankfully we were spared and before we got bribed into tipping him we made our escape. Had some lunch at a little mexican cafe and then drove to Balboa park to see the gardens and museums.
We enjoyed San Diego but prefer San Francisco as the city in general has got a lot more character and charm about it.
We spent our last day at Huntington Beach and now were just waiting to catch our flight to New York. How we managed to get all our gear back into our rucksacks i will never know, but we did it so off we go now to our final destnation!!

Sandhu First off I would like to say awesome blog! I had a quick qsuiteon in which I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I've had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Many thanks!
