paul's world adventures and more
Hey whats up everyone
This week is all about the tubing in Laos and Bangkok.
What can you say about van vieng execpt crazyiness, after a good 12 hour trip on the bus me Jay and Joe arrived with a new arrival Pepe into the group, where we prepared for what was about to happen, the answer is no. We arrived at 3pm and started with the saying shall we go the river just to see what is happening, bad call we ended up getting smashed, there is always whisky on arrival and we just had to get in the mix of it pardon the punt. We ended up staying out until midnight.
Now onto day 2 this was about again getting smashed, zip slides, slides and swings but our group increased another 5 joined the group Sarah and Danni from Melbourne they are legends and also Hannah and Oli again legends. We had great fun all day it was Australia day and completly crazy, people were just going nuts and drinking so much it is so hard to describe how mad it is. Me Sarah and Danni thought it would be fun to role around in the gravel so we did soooooooooooo much fun they are a good laugh.
Day 3 was a quite affair i think everyone was dead from aus day although Jay and Joe got jobs in a bar called jokers the nutters. Even though it was quite we ended up having a party in Joes room with a new compadrie the welsh scotsman he is nuts getting on doing the manginna nutter good laugh though.
Day 4 and my last day and oh my word what a day i went out with attitude i was going to get wasted i think the group new this and i didnt let anyone down went out with a bang. Bar 1 necked a bucket whole with my arse hanging out gained legendary status as was filmed in q bar so many people were coming up to me saying your nuts. Then moved onto bar 2 did a zip slide and did my ribs still a bit tender now but only bruised. Then Bar 3 chugged another bucket down through a beer pong by this time i was wasted and everything is becoming a blair although i stll managed to beer pong another beer. We then just danced until the wee hours of the night although i did fall asleep in a bar hillarous, a legendary night.
Day 5 was a hangover and me leaving for Bangkok was sad to leave but glad that place is too hardcore, so i thought i would chill in Bangkok how wrong.
Day 1 arrival went on Facebook to see that Al and Amanda were there my aus friends from China we actually went to the weekend market was just alright. We then ate street food which was amazing. After that we went to Kho Sam Road it was hilarous Al was so drunk sorry to mention he was sick Al you loser, but we did eat strange food grasshoppers and grubs they were rank.
Day 2 was going to be quiet as i was leaving the next day so me AL and Amanda went the cinema which again was quite funny as you have to stand for the national anthem, they really love the king in Thailand, but he seems to have done alot for the people of Thailand. I left them about 9pm thought just go on facebook and chill then to find another travel buddy Laura Gamboa was here me and Laura met up for supposedly a quite drink how wrong were we on route to Kho Sam Road we met Kevin Lauras friend and whilst sitting in a bar i bumped into Hannah and Oli from Vang Vieng.
So as i stated this was supposed to be a quite night how wrong. The beer started flowing so we said shall we go to a club the overwhelming answer was yes. We walked up to the club they wouldnt let me and Laura in as the seen our hidden beers which they seen. So we thought f*** it lets dance in the street, so we did and then ended up starting a massive street party i bet Kho Sam Road has never seen anything like this we partyed till 4am, people were going nuts jumping and climbing over tuk tuks and cars we were like celebrites our group, people were coming over with free drinks all night we had a blast. Me and Laura even climbed into a beer wagon picture to follow. One of our group Canidan Kevin even streaked down the road thats the level we got too, love it.
Me and Laura finally left at 430am to wake up the next morning with muddy feet and peanut crackers we were like what happened last night it was just like the film the hangover trying to piece things together was a challenge. We went to Kho Sam for lunch people who we can bairly remeber were coming up to us, always the sign of a great night. We met up with Hannah and Ollie who began piecing the night together and oh my word what a great night by far one of my best since i have been away travelling. I was supposed to be leaving that night didnt happen, missed my bus because i was so hungover so me and Laura just chilled and went the cinema again.
Final day felt great no hangover me and Laura went to meet her mum who had flown in from the states and just chilled really, kind of nice to do this as my body is feeling a bit wary now.
Moved onto Kular Lumpar Malysia now the journey was horrible 36 hours so im wrecked at the minute, need to get myself going though as it is Chinese New Year, what this will bring who knows meeting up again with old travel buddies excited Matt and Racheal our the orignal buddies from China, all im saying is i hope it doesnt get messy, im going to do the cultural stuff today me thinks
A special mention goes to Laura Gamboa as you have changed no more quite Laura, confidence is brimming and not only that you have stayed next door to a crack den and lived to tell your story. Laura also do not cut your hair it would be so wrong.
Peace out people speak soon about my next adventures.
