On Tuesday we both somehow managed to sleep in for quite a bit. I think it's because it's so quiet here. You're right out in the middle of the mountains & there's really not many cars or anything around, so it's very peaceful, & easy to be totally relaxed. We decided to take it easy in the morning & do a bunch of organizing for the next bit of our trip i.e., booking tours in Munich, organizing trains to Fussen and back etc. Traveling can be surprisingly hard work at times! Not that I'm complaining mind you :P Sure beats studying for exams or going to work every day :D (Sorry peeps! :P)
In the afternoon we decided to rectify the previous night's awful dinner experience with a nice meal in Chamonix. We found a lovely place with a terrace out in the centre of town, where you could watch the goings on of people walking by. And steak. Oooooh steak! I forgot how much I love steak! I told Nigel that I didn't think I'd eaten steak since we went out to dinner before he got his wisdom teeth out (which was early January) & he looked utterly appalled! Haha And it was a really great steak too :D Situation rectified!
We had an early night because we had to be up at 6:00AM the next day to head onto Interlaken & 6:00AM the day after to go up the Jungfrau, so it's gonna be a couple of big, busy days for us! Sending you all a little bit of beautiful sunshine from the alps here in France :)
