Hey everyone! hows it all going back in the sunny ol' UK? wat u guys all up 2? we arrived in Vietnam about a week ago? the flight was about an hour long, the shortest transport thingy we've done, even though we had to check in and everything.  Anyway.....we arrived in Ho Chi Minh and after getting a bit ripped off by a cabby to take us to our first accomadation we finally settled ourselves into a guesthouse, but for some reason we always seem to be in the highest room, nice for the views not nice when carrying our rucksaks! our first night we were in a bit of a dodgy area, so the following morning we moved to another guesthouse a bit closer to the centre aswell! we had a place called Bobby Brewers (a coffee house, Justin you would be very impressed!) it had a small home cinema on the top floor, REALLY nice!! so we ate there quite a bit and watched about 5 movies there aswell! whilst in Ho Chi Minh we did a tour of the tunnels that the Viet Cong built in Cu Chi and that was soo cool, they're something like 200km worth of tunnels, and they were so so so so small when you got inside them and it was quite obviously pitch black, but the tunnels have been widened from 2 times it's original size! originally, they were only 22cm by 30cm, it was insane!

the next day we went round Ho Chi Minh city itself, on various transport, moped taxi's, taxi, cyclo's (which are so slow!!!!) we went to Notre Dame cathedral, which was lovely, the Re-Unification palace, again very interesting, the War Remnants museum, which was incredibly disturbing!!! pictures of mutilated bodies, babies in a jar showing the affects of Agent Orange and Napalm and Phosperus Gas, it was pretty shocking! then we went to a Jade Emporer, which was pretty much a bog standard Wat, and we got seriously ripped off truna get there so we were a bit miffed at that! we also went to an arcade and shopping centre for a bit and had some fun there, there shopping centres are like Harvey Nicks and Harrods in London, so we looked a bit out of place, but argh well!

Few days ago we began making our way up north towards Hanoi and we've got a bus ticket taking us all the way to Hue, for about 6 GBP each, so we're pretty pleased with that! we've stopped in Mui Ne, right on thew coast for some beach time, we've been here for about 3 days and we gotta leave at 7.30am tomoz to head inland to Dalat! yesterday we went on a tour around Mui Ne, with Niki Wallace, (Ross Wallaces' sister) as we met her here with 8 of her friends so we joined up in a massive group and set off in 2 jeeps, with guides to the Fishing Village which was full of these weird round tub things, that they apparently fish in?! bizarre! then we went to the White Sand Dunes and did some taboganing down the hill, and a few of us went for a swim in the lake just at the bottom of these huge sand dunes! then we went and watched the sunset on some red sand dunes, saw a red canyon, walked up a fairy stream, it was so lovely and we had such an awesome day! it only cost us 3GBP each, so well worth the money! in the evening we all went out for a massive meal and got through rather a lot of alcohol and food (which i am suffering the consequences for now!) and then went to the ONLY club in the area which was pretty dead but we deffinatly managed to liven it up a little!! and then this morning we've just been lazying around on the beach, the wind is pretty strong and the waves are pretty huge, quite a few surfers, windsurfers and klite-surfers out on the water, so thats pretty awesome to watch!

so.......thats pretty much our lives for the last week, how bout urs?! hahaha!

it's totaly awesome and we're having such an amazing time, it's going a litttle too quickly for my liking tho as in about 2.5 weeks or suming we'll be making our way to Melbourne! it's also my b'day soon and it's guna be totally weird not having my family and friends around to celebrate it with, but i'm sure Liv and I will have many a drink to make up for you all that can be here!

anyway, Liv's gone back to the guesthouse so i better be off, anyway, hope England is ok and if anything major is happening we'd love to know, like if the Queen Dies or England goes to war or sumin, jus let us know, cos we don't know anything at tha moment! or just let us know what u guys are up to!?
