Wow! So today was our first full day here and it's been pretty crazy!
We had an early night last night to try catch up on some sleep, however I think both of our bodies were very confused and didn't know what time it was as we both found it hard to sleep! Also very humid so starfishing to the extreme!! Hostel is lovely tho, clean, friendly and lovely shower and toilets!

We went out for an explore around 11/noon, taking our first trip to koh San road which is the main road here, absolutely crazy with anything and everything to buy there! Being two girls we found ourselves being approached by lots of Thai men wanting to take us on their tuk tuk around the area, but we declined haha say no to Pervy men!

So for lunch we grabbed some pad Thai from a little man on the side of the road cooking fresh food! It's a traditional Thai dish and had tiny bits of egg and chicken in it - delish!!!

We then set off on a hunt for a boat that would take us to the grand palace, however, a local Thai man approached us when we were looking at a map and told us where to go to see the 'real' Bangkok, he advised we get a yellow and blue tuk tuk as they are government run, so cheaper! Well.. He flagged one down for us and on we hopped! We had legend of a driver called John but he thought he was David Beckham! He loved man united and was such a smiley chap! He took us around to a few places and waited for us whilst we looked around. He also needed petrol so we rocked upto a station which was very bizarre in this tuk tuk haha

Spent about 3 hours with him and be was basically our personal driver! All in all it cost us 30 baht (which is about 60p!!) but as we are kind and he was hilarious we gave him 50 baht which is £1!! Bargain!!

We have booked a bus to krabi which is southern Thailand so we can spend time on the beach getting a tan!! It's about a 15hour trip but only cost us £35!! Not bad at all!

Hopefully going to the floating market and the tiger temple over the next few days before we depart on Saturday evening! Planning on going out tonight, having a few beers and making some friends!
