hey you guys....

We just spent three lovely days in Parati on the beach! Our hostel was literally right on the beach which was good.Ddidnt have anywhere to stay when we arrived, and walking about with your backpack in the boiling heat is a pain in the arse! but we managed to fin somewhere to stay! The hostel we stayed in on the first night was quite nice, but there were soooo many mozzies! and i also found a dead bug in my pillow, so going to sleep wasnt all that fun that night! we had a lazy night in on the first night as we were so tired!

We changed hostels after the bugs freaked us out so much, and it was much better!! and it was still right on the beach. Spent the day on the beach and walking around the old colonial town which was really nice...except the cobbled streets are so hard to walk on as they are more like boulders rather than cobbled, but all the same it was a nice town! They still use horse and cart for transport which was cute..but also a bit smelly! We went out into the town that night, it was pretty quiet, but there were a few good little bars, and we had a great night, and still didnt end up getting top bed until 5am....we thought ilha grande and parati would be a relaxing place, but it seems the whole of brazil is one big party! Having a great time though!

Went on a little boat trip around Parati and the islands which was really fun....did some snorkeling too! It was a little overcast but it was still really beautiful! We are bit a sad to leave, but then we get to go to Florianopolis which is supposed to be even better so we're looking forward to that....just not to the 18hour bus ride! did some more partying and then up early to pack and set off for our lonnnnng bus ride!
