Hey finally in Bangkok!!! Getting here was easy! Both flights early, quantas flight was a luxury, had tea, supper and breakfast and endless drinks and snacks, oh and also sneaked off with blanket which may come in handy in New Zealand!! We were both excited to see that our bags arrived in Bangkok!!!Got a taxi from airport to hostel for about 8 pounds, great for the distance of going from perth to dundee!!First time in a hostel and its really cool!!!Got some good tips from those that have been here a while!!Staying in Silom just down from Pat Pong nice during the day, however, bit more dark and dingy at night. We spoke to this old man from fife who i thought was sweet, talked a lot about his travels reminded me of my grandad, thought he maybe lonely, until he talked about the thai women he pays for, not so lonely old man!!!Tried to find somewhere nice for tea, however, warned not to eat thai food so it was a microwave chicken burger from the seven eleven, bit dodgy but tummy still ok!!!Hanging out in the hostel tonight getting to know people and its safer in here!!! Going out to explore the temples, china town and khao san road tomorrow!!!So far so good!
