So i've been to a lot of places since my last blog but i can't remember where or when!! It's a new place every day!!

Anyway, had a fancy dress party in a place called lake Mahinapua which was great. i was Tinkerbell and made the dress out of crepe paper & had wings & everything!! It was a really good night, and was also Shweta's birthday so we had a banner and a cake for her and she was really touched and shed a few tears, bless her!

Am now in Franz Josef and this morning i did a half day hike up the glacier....my legs were already aching from walking and horse riding but i did it and boy do i hurt now!!! We set off for about an hours walk to the bottom of the glacier then climbed up it for an hour & half then back down again and back to the bus! The ice climbing was ok, bit slippy & scary but the worst bit for me was before we even got to the ice!! Because there's now a river flowing in the valley we had to climb the rock face round to get past!! This involved slippy steep rocks, ladders (!) & holding on for dear life to a rope or a chain! Now, being scared of heights this wasn't exactly my idea of fun and i almost changed my mind halfway across but i pushed myself and carried on.. I'm glad i did as it was such an achievement to do the whole thing, but i was terrified, and i mean terrified!

Now...I'm just knackered!!! My legs have just given up on me now, they've had enough!! it's my own fault for driving everywhere!! (Dad, do give me my car back though!!) So i am so unfit!! I realised this when i brought up the rear!! Even, walking behind the 60/70 year old man on the same trip!!!!!!!!!!!! How terrible!!!

Rightio, am going to the spa pool/jacuzzi & sauna now, the backpacker's we're staying at is lovely and has these gorgeous facilities so if you'll excuse me i have to go soak my aching bones!! This travelling can be hard work ya know!!!

Onto Wanaka tomorrow, long drive but lots of nice scenery i've been assured by jarrod, our driver!! Back soon......
